XBox 360 Preorder

September 7, 2005 Leave a comment
I preordered mine at Gamecrazy last week. Dropped 50 bucks for the right to get one before x-mas.
I preorderd the 399 version, with hard drive, wireless cotroller and all the rest. Stuff I’ll need and that would cost way more than $100 if bought separately. They had about 150 consoles pre-ordered and just 2 of them were core systems.

My HDTV is ready, I’ll probably get a basic receiver and speakers to enrich the sound experience. My mediacenter is eagerly waiting for the new extension. I added a 400mb hard drive for music, videos and whatnot.
All is set…

What are you waiting for?

Talking about Fable for XBox

The missing chapters from the great game Fable are coming to XBox too after being released for the PC. This is good news for xbox players that don’t want the PC versions. This also shows the power of having a single platform for developing games, making ports easier.

XBOX 360 and PS3

The news is out… specs for both the next gen XBox and Playstation are out in the open.

It is clear that the battle for the next best console is not going to be about who has the best graphics… Instead it will be about other things: major fanchises, better development experience, better integration with the rest of the media experience.

As for me, I’m getting a new XBox when it comes out in November/Dicember, get PGR3 and hook it up to my DLP 46" TV, XBox Live and take a couple of weeks of off work

Things you got to love (from here):

  • Ability to stream media from portable music devices, digital cameras and Windows XP-based PCs
  • Built-in Media Center Extender for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
  • Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote
  • Xbox 360 Wireless Controller
  • Spectator Mode on Live
